CASALONE IGT
(70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet and Merlot)
Casalone is named after one of the original buildings on our property. Complementing any dish, this wine makes a great gift.
Fair quality cork with visible annual rings, medium density, good homogeneity and low resistance to extraction.
The wine, due to its intimate constitution, lends itself to immediate consumption which is already very pleasant, however, not lacking in structure and acidity, it will be able to satisfy those who will be able to wait for it this year.
WINE PROFILE
Color: The ruby red color in the blend suggests the massive presence of grapes for which less intense shades are congenital, therefore Sangiovese.
The nail is timidly orange, thus betraying the elevation in oak barrels.
Bouquet: The bouquet is austere, referring to delicate hints of fresh berries, a subdued varietal floral vein, a decisive spicy and undergrowth note that invites you to drink.
Flavor: On the palate it is round, soft and enveloping, without harshness. Slender and casual the taste, unraveled around the freshness and gustatory delicacy, softly tannic, invites you to drink.
Food: Delicate first course, meats and cheeses.
